Make a tape of specially chosen music; write him poetry; send him a care package of home-baked goodies and a stuffed animal or two; send him flowers; paint him a picture; embroider him a knick knack; WRITE HIM MAIL!

Send him postcards of bizarre lands with cute but sincere sayings on the back. (Looking for interesting things to do for him may well make your own life more interesting, if it needs it! :) All the above really make for a happy day / memory / frame of mind. Its not quite fair to follow a prescribed course, but in my favorites are definitely pictures. One feels so flattered / moved by the effort and time put into them. Usually these are paintings on envelopes, or ink-drawings. Letters are fabulous, but a letter with a little made thing as well adds so much.

Choosing a one for you Mr. Wrong...or Mr. Right
Concentrating on thinking up new and exciting things to do for to each other instead of worrying about how long it will be until you see each other really helps, and makes things more fun. I just bought ten blank tapes and taped a bunch of albums, then cut out pictures for inserts in the tape cases, then coved the tape box with a bunch of other pictures. It took a long time to do, but it was a lot of fun. She'll like the tapes for the music, but what makes this special (and fun for me) is finding pictures and funny sayings that she will appreciate.

Reality or infatuation?

Why cut off an option just because it's going to take a little work?
Because person to person relationships take a lot of work... Why should one be pressed with the heartache of not being able to date regularly, not being able to see the other except after long careful planning, not being able to correct misunderstandings that crop up due to the inability to interact on a personal level?
It's hard enough to find the right one...why resort to far away people that one never knows if the infatuation is just the way they write? Never knowing their personalities until after much investment...the kind of investment that, done on a personal level, would help determine in a more timely manner if that other was not the right one? There has to be a chemical reaction... an attraction... Romantically, we would all like to believe that the mind will be an immense draw...
the mind is mirror of the soul. But there are many other considerations involved...  and they need the personal involvement.
