Sometimes the relationship breaks up; sometimes they go back together with one another. Sometimes I precipitate the breakup. Sometimes the man sees the light and regains the spirit and creativity that had brought the relationship together. Too often, when in long-term relationships, people become very boring.

Things That Make Love Possible
The love dies, and then so do all the emotions following the love. Then any emotional expression or imagination or creativity becomes disruptive to the dead thing that the relationship is, and people expend all their energy hobbling each other and undermining each other and destroying each other's spirit. The people who declared that they love each other destroy the very things that make love possible, things such as passion and self-esteem. This is the opposite of love. This is the opposite of life. This is the opposite of everything that makes life a good thing.

Terrified Of Leaving A Dead Relationship
The social arrangements that spring around this situation become horrible, hypocritical, soul-killing. So when one sees a dead relationship, not only does one find it right to move in for the kill, but in fact one does a service to one's fellow men by doing so. A lot of people are terrified of leaving a dead relationship. Their spirits are crushed by an arrangement whose psychodynamic requires crushing the spirit, and they have unrealistically negative self-appraisal and lack self-confidence.
