How does one learn to value Relationships Bookmark and Share

How does one learn to value relationships when no one around you cares about maintaining one? It just doesn't seem worth it. Enjoy the time you have with someone you care about. We dont live in a world of happy marriages and joyous wedding celebrations... We come from a world where people are bitter and not speaking to one another.

All relationships in the world are doomed to end somehow - by death, separation, whatever. If you look at it that way, you're right - why bother? Another way to look at it is to enjoy the time you have with someone you care about, and work to make that as *long* as possible. Sex isn't just something that happens - it takes a bit of effort and caring

With any luck you'll find someone with whom you can spend years and years with, maybe even your whole life. But if you're always thinking of the *end*, then you're never quite living in the *now.*

Having someone who really appreciates your body and knows their way around really matters. Most women don't come from intercourse alone - and far too many people think that intercourse is the end-all-and-be-all of sex.
